I would not wvwn give them one star. The two times I have requested their service there is always an excuse.

What a complete joke! Just today, my vehicle was stuck slightly off the road in the mountains. When I called for roadside assistance help, I was told that they don't assist you when you are stuck in the mud. You have to be on the road. It had been raining hard in the mountains and when I slightly moved to the shoulder to let someone go by, my tires got stuck. Thank gosh my friend had Triple A.

Terrible experience with Honda third party roadside assistance

Last year, my newly purchased Civic faced starting issues, and I reached out to Honda's third-party roadside assistance through my Platinum Coverage Plan ((800) 843-****). Unfortunately, it turned out to be a regrettable decision. I was charged over $200 for a service that was never provided. Despite multiple calls requesting reimbursement, the promised refund never materialized. Every time I inquired about the status, a new representative claimed there was no record of my previous calls. A frustrating and disappointing experience!

Preferred solution: Honda should reconsider its contract with the despicable third-party roadside assistance I dealt with last year.

User's recommendation: Just use your car's insurance. I ended up contacting GEICO and worked as expected without undesired surprises.

Honda Roadside Existence Does NOT Exist! They tell you that they won't come!

They don't answer the phone! Honda has outsourced their roadside assistance dispatch to a third party that is ALWAYS too busy to actually answer your call, but instead you leave a message and they call you back in an hour. Then if it is too late, they tell you wait until tomorrow! HONDA SUCKS! HONDA IS NOT WHAT ITS BRAND USED TO BE!

I bought a 2021 Honda monkey has 25 miles on it i purchased the extended warranty the fuel pump went out and they won't cover it because of neglect I didn't ride it enough what bs

Paint Damage, twice

Honda has refused to fix the pealing paint. Originally it happened on the roof and they pushed me to the dealer and I had to pay 50%. A month later, they had a recall and we got nothing. Then it peeled again and they said the extended warranty ended when they know it's still a defective paint job. They ran us through the wringer on our Honda pilot's transmission as well. Do not be fooled, they are NOT customer focused.

User's recommendation: Quality is overrated. My last two vehicles have had problems, Pilot and MDX, both had transmission issues and the MDX had a major paint defect.

the honda care because it is supposed cover all road side assistance in addition to a bunch of other super protections. we have been waiting 8 hour for someone to come jump the battery. this is phoenix yet they can't get a truck to my house? thankfully I'm not by the side of the road in the 115 degree heat. it's near impossible to get a person on the line, and when you do they can't do anything but offer to open a new ticket with a different roadside company. they give you a phone number to contact the provider directly but they never answer. Get AAA or get roadside through your insurance co. honda care SUCKS!!!Dont

I have been trying to reach Honda Care about my extended warranty for the past 3 days. Their automated system leaves you on hold for over 40 minutes, then a message comes on saying they are experiencing a technical difficulty, then they cut you off. They sometimes give you an option to leave a message for a callback, but if you do that, you get a message that the mailbox is full.

My car is in shop 3 months

No parts Have to drive car without safety features. No distance sensor. Its been 3 months and now it is possible it will be January. Unsafe to drive at without distance sensor and that is why I leased a Honda Civic for its safety features. Now I am told I can wait til January and part May come in or drive it without safety features.

I bought a motorcycle financed by Honda, so I had to get Honda Care gap insurance. What a joke. My bike was stolen, and I had to file a claim. Ultimately I ended up owing even after my main insurance stepped in. I have been trying to file a claim with Honda Care for months now. The phone # provided to me doesn't work unless transferred from Honda Finance. It's just a bunch of advertisements. Never got to spoke to a customer service rep. Now I am being told there is a time limit to file claims but also not clear on how I actually do this. In other words, it's little better than a scam. Never again.

I called Honda Care for a tire flat and they were asking me questions for around 20 minutes, like in slow motion, until I got tired and I had to ask for help to another. They did not want to help me changing my tire. Shame on them

I don’t know if all the extended warranties work the same but Honda Care didn’t want to pay for a simple battery cable. Dealer was changing more that 600 dollars to change that cable and I call Honda Care to try to get cover, the guy who take the call was so rude and they didn’t want to cover. The point is that is not worth paying for Coverage at the end of the day they going to denied anyways. Imagen the only way for them to cover the battery cable is if has factory defects, they do not cover if it breaks or damage with the daily use, is not ridiculous? I would never waste my money on a extended warranty never again.

Don't waste your money

I purchased an extended warranty through Ocean Honda and as soon as I had a problem they automatically denied coverage unless I could provide proof of every oil change I had done over the last four years. The issue I had is a well-documented flaw with two parts (multiple service bulletins issued), and there is no evidence I've ever run low on oil or delayed changes. It's just a way to avoid providing the service they promised when pitching the extended warranty. Even when I provided proof of most of my oil changes they rely on one period when my service provider was changing computer systems and couldn't retrieve the records to continue denying coverage. Don't wast your money. Honda Care is just a con. If your search HONDA CARE COMPLAINT you'll find some 55,000 complaints with there practices and service.

Key Fob unlock button controls windows

My wife & I were visiting my son in Nashville. He picked us up at our hotel and we went to dinner.When we returned, all 4 windows were about 1/3 down. It was raining extremely hard and the inside of the car was very wet. Needless to say, we were very irritated! I then went on the internet & found out that holding the unlock button on the key fob for a length of time would roll down all 4 windows. Apparently my money clip caused this problem while in my pocket. I looked in the manual & was unable to find any information on this issue. When I went to my dealer to complain, the General Manager was unaware of this. I have been a long time Honda owner & I am very, very upset that this happened!!!

Same thing happened to my 2018 Honda CRV. I called the dealership to complain and was told this was a feature with the vehicle and there was no way to override it. It seems to me that it is more of a liability than feature.
